Dr. Xing Xuewu is an associate chief physician in the orthopedic department at Tianjin First Central Hospital and a postdoctoral and master's supervisor at Nankai University. He has studied under renowned orthopedic experts, including Professor Wei Xiaochun, Professor Feng Shiqing, and Academician Zhang Yingze, specializing in joint surgery. In 2019, during his visiting study at Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, he completed standardized training for international knee preservation surgery and is skilled in systematic knee osteoarthritis treatment and stepwise surgical strategies, as well as primary and revision total joint arthroplasty (TJA). In 2023, he was sent abroad for study by China Scholarship Council (CSC) to the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in the United States, ranked first in orthopedics for 13 consecutive years, where he completed his postdoctoral research under the guidance of Professor Scott Rodeo and gained extensive surgical experience from numerous joint revision cases at HSS. In 2024, he visited the University of Oxford in the UK, where he studied the techniques for Oxford unicompartmental knee arthroplasty and revision surgery under the guidance of Professor Andrew Price, the Clinical Director of the Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics (NOC). He currently holds multiple academic positions in China, leads one provincial, one municipal, and one hospital-level project, and participates in several national projects. He has published over thirty academic papers, including seven indexed by SCI, and serves as a reviewer for two SCI journals. He has applied for and obtained one national utility model patent. |
